Childcare Teacher, Infant, Toddler, Preschool

UBCCC is a NAEYC accredited center with a high staff/child ratio in the infant and toddler classrooms. Position responsibilities include: daily supervision of children and meeting their health & safety needs; familiarity with OCFS regulations for child care centers; experience with NAEYC accreditation preferred; Observations and assessments of children; writing daily activity plans; ability to work with a team of teachers and communicate well with parents.

Minimum Qualifications
Associate' degree in early childhood education with experience working with young children 6 weeks to 5 years of age.

Ability to communicate effectively orally and written word.
 
 
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in early childhood education with experience in a childcare setting.

Ability to work effectively with groups and apply leadership skills.
 
 
 
Physical Demands
Essential physical requirements include:

Ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift up to 30lbs. and sit on the floor and rise from the floor without adult assistance.
