Program Overview:
Summer Intern Program Dates: May 31, 2017 – August 11, 2017
Working Hours:  40 hours/week, 8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday – Friday
 
 
Responsibilities may include:
  • The intern will analyze environmental, health, and safety regulations at the local, state, and federal levels to determine impact to BHTI operations.
  • Develop and implement plans to comply with these regulations.
  • Analyze standards, in terms of engineering concepts, on which they are based; and apply these standards to meet specific situations.
Education and Schedule Requirements:
  • Must be a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in industrial hygiene, environmental engineering, biology, chemistry or related science degree
  • Must be able to fulfill the full length of the Summer Intern Program (May 31, 2017 – August 11, 2017)
  • Must be a current student enrolled in a university and pursuing a degree at the time of the Summer Intern Program
  • Will have completed at least 60 credit hours at the time of the Summer Intern Program (May 2017)
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
