Program Overview:
Summer Intern Program Dates: May 31, 2017 – August 11, 2017
Working Hours:  40 hours/week, 8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday – Friday

 

Position Responsibilities may include:

- Review electrical infrastructure (systems, lighting, energy, electrical codes, utilities)

- Metric development and analytics

- Facility Layouts

- Business Justifications

- Ergonomics/Safety

- LEAN/6S/Visual Factory

- Manpower and Machine Forecasting

- Strategic Planning

Education and Schedule Requirements:

  •  Currently enrolled as a full-time student working towards a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Must be able to fulfill the full length of the Summer Intern Program (May 31, 2017-August 11, 2017)
  • Must be a current student enrolled in a university and pursuing a degree at the time of the Summer Intern Program
  • Will have completed at least 60 credit hours at the time of the Summer Intern Program (May 2017)
  • GPA of a 3.0 or higher

Position Requirements:

  • Exceptional understanding and application of fundamental Electrical Engineering processes and principles
  • Strong statistical analysis capability and computer skills, including AutoCAD and PC/Microsoft programs
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and coordination skills
