PPG has an immediate opening for a Fulfillment Planner located in Carrollton, TX. The incumbent will likely be responsible for remotely supporting a plant in another location.
The Fulfillment Planner is responsible for assembling the daily production schedule that falls within the constraints of the factory while at the same time providing the desired levels of service to our customers and while meeting company working capital objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule batches based on SAP System signals plus field intelligence.
- Plan for Promotions and New Product launches.
- Follow Schedule Review and Approval Process. (SRAP)
- Review reports daily and makes production, rebalancing, relabeling and re-pouring decisions to ensure proper service and inventory levels.
- Ensure all service goals are met for each of the different business channels.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred. In lieu of degree, 8-10 years of relevant experience is required.
- Excellent planning and organizing abilities.
- Strong computer aptitude.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and quickly adjust to changing requirements.
- Experience in Planning and Scheduling in an SAP environment is preferred.
- 5-10% travel is required.
