The RN is responsible for assessing the health status of individuals and groups, establishing nursing diagnoses, identifying and planning goals to meet health care needs, prescribing nursing interventions, implementing the plan of care and evaluating and documenting responses to interventions. The RNdelegates those interventions which may be performed by others, assists in maintaining a safe environment for the rendering of effective nursing care, provides education to patients, families and health professionals and collaborates with other health professionals in the planning and management of health care
Graduate of accredited RN program. Preferred: Previous critical care experience, electronic charting and recent completion of critical care course. CCRN and PALS and/or ENPC a plus. Required: Arrhythmia course, 2 years recent Med/Surg experience and venipuncture proficiency. Registered Nurse currently licensed by the State of Vermont BLS healthcare provider status. Post-hire requirements: ACLS Provider status required within 3 months of hire, BMH Moderate Sedation certification (optional for per diem employees) and BMH IV certification or demonstrated proficiency.
