Supply Chain Analyst Associate

Responsibilities:
Working within a Tactical Procurement Team, the SC Analyst Associate is responsible for maintaining the set direction within the team as well as cross functional support, identifying strategic procurement opportunities, troubleshooting supply related issues and performing quantitative analysis to support forecasted/customer demand.
The SC Analyst Associate performs critical research required to support decision making within the Tactical Procurement Team and across support organizations (ie. Quality, Engineering). This includes market supply and demand analysis, evaluation of supplier capacity, raw material and process competencies, and assessment of vendor economics. The SC Analyst Associate then provides analytical support to both strategic and tactical procurement professionals involved in the implementation of identified strategies.
Finally, the SC Analyst Associate is responsible for assisting in our supply base strategy for designated commodities and/or part numbers. Included in this responsibility is the charge to evaluate existing supplier delivery, cost, and quality performance, and maintain a supplier scorecard, work with supplier managers to implement vendor improvement initiatives. The SC Analyst Associate helps facilitate reporting of spare part supply, coordinates supplier interactions, identifies inventory opportunities, researches logistical/demand history, reviews drawings/engineering to advise the team on individual challenges and generally removes obstacles that slow/stop the delivery of spare parts to our warehouse.
Education:
- 4 year degree (BS/BA) in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Technology/Management, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting
Position Requirements:
- Experience in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related area.
- Experience working on cross functional production teams; strong project management skills are preferred.
