Associate Manager, Projects

Position Summary:

Associate Project Manager
 
Associate Project Manager Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage High volume of Corporate Real Estate projects
  • Lead project management responsibilities from PAR through project completion
  • Work effectively with Facilities Management, Design, Finance and Real Estate teams to develop and execute projects
  • Report accurate financial data and project schedules to sr. leadership
  • Read and interpret floor plans, construction drawings, and pictures to create project scope. Generate scope documents and effectively communicate scope of work to vendors.
  • Collect competitive pricing from multiple vendors.
  • Generate comprehensive project scopes and budgets for senior leadership to review and approve.
  • Upon approval, implement projects immediately. Document project scope, budget, schedules, and project notes.
  • Complete project scope within 60 days from approval or agreed upon timeline.
  • Work with Facilities Management team to schedule vendors work or surveys, set expectation with the client.
  • Obtain digital photos of all completed scopes.
  • Track invoicing, reconcile and close out projects in appropriate, given timeline.
  •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accomplish cycle time improvements, cost saving initiatives, etc. utilizing Six Sigma and LEAN process improvement methodologies.
  • Assist in development and implementation of innovations, best practices, and standard operating procedures to elevate team performance and delight our clients.
  • Demonstrate continuous learning mindset by seeking learning and development opportunities, asking for and accomplishing stretch assignments, and willingness to take on new challenges.
QUALIFICATIONS
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Business, or equivalent.
  • Two or more years project management experience with demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects, numerous deadlines, and conflicting priorities.
 
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

 
  • Achieve professional certifications such as PMP and LEED as needed and required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Familiarity with architectural drawings; furniture, fixtures, and equipment; design and space planning concepts; construction costs and schedules.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals, ability to write routine reports and correspondence, and ability to speak proficiently and professionally both over the phone and in person.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem solving ability.
  • Excellent verbal / written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Proficient with use of Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, and project management software.
  • May require overnight travel
