Key Responsibilities
Manages the packaging and manufacturing support functions and associated staff in order to meet the production On Time Delivery, DOH Inventory, and Financial goals of the operation. Manufacturing support includes Planning, Scheduling, Labeling, Maintenance, Shipping, and EH&S. Establishes and implements profitable standard operating and safety procedures. Develops and manages the implementation of effective cost-reduction, productivity, safety, and continuous improvement processes, and procedures. Manages, acquires, coaches and develops employees into high performing functional teams. Conceives and develops solutions to complex operations and operations management problems using professionally accepted techniques, including the Aero Lean six sigma process. Effectively manages the manufacturing/scheduling processes and procedures to ensure on-time delivery to the customer. Participates in the development of capital improvement budgets and manages operations within approved budgets. Complies with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and procedures at all times.
Experience and Education
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Must have at least five years of manufacturing operations experience with supervisory/management responsibility
Functional and Technical Skills
Must possess the ability to manage the production function and develop good working relationships that are essential to providing the level of service necessary to meet customer expectations and achieve business growth. Must be able to accurately perform and interpret complex production scheduling and analytical mathematics required of an operations management level position. Must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate in English, and be proficient in utilizing MS Office tools such as PowerPoint, Office, and Excel. Must be able to wear required PPE with or without reasonable accommodation
