-Provide technical support for all company military (U.S. military, Foreign Military Sale and Commercial Sale), surplus military and some commercial products which meets customer requirement while assuring continuity between models.
-Provide assistance in troubleshooting, repair and modification of fielded products.
-Create continued airworthiness instructions and notifications (safety,technical bulletins and operation safety notices) for operation and maintenance of supported company products.
-Analyze product operation and maintenance data to identify and document cost and safety related issues requiring corrective actions.
-Provide formalized technical training to enhance the technical knowledge of each Product Support Engineer and Military Field Representative, thereby improving performance and customer satisfaction.
-Act as the voice of the customer on technical issues within Bell.
-Assist in creation of technically justifiable product maintenance requirements which ensure all safety of flight issues can detected prior to functional failures.
-Evaluate military support data to determine potential impact on commercial models and coordinate with commercial support personnel as required to assure all activities are handled in a uniform manner.
-Assist manager in the development of standardized product support policies and procedures.
-Interface with the IPT to provide guidance and assure compliance with standardized product support policies and procedures.
-Support the Safety Board as required.
-Ensure the professional and personal conduct of all personnel is of the highest ethical standards, is compliant with all Textron and government rules and regulations and supports all Bell Helicopter and Textron goals and objectives.
-Must be U.S. Citizen.
-A&P License, FCC or equivalent and six (6) years of experience of which four (4) years are field experience.
-Working knowledge of Bell Helicopter military models preferred.
-Working knowledge of MS Office, MS Windows, and ability to learn new software.
-Strong business acumen and skilled at building strong relationships at all organizational levels.
-Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
-Self-motivated team player with a customer first mindset.
-Ability to adapt to multi-cultural business environment(s).
