Bell Helicopter is seeking a Structural Dynamics Engineer for analytical design support of advanced rotorcraft at its Ft. Worth, TX headquarters facility.
The position is responsible for conducting analysis in the following technical areas:
• Airframe vibration analysis
• Passive vibration control and reduction
• Dynamic compatibility of air vehicle components and subsystems.
Work assignments require the application of engineering principles, concepts, and theories.
Typical assignments include detail finite element analyses of components and complete airframe assemblies. In addition, assignments may include analytical support of engineering investigation and resolution of dynamics problems.
Performance in multiple tasks with minimal supervision is expected.
Education Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Master’s Degree is preferred.
Position Requirements:
• At least 4 years specific experience performing Dynamic Analysis is required - additional experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Nastran Finite Element Analysis, Patran Pre- and Post-Processor, and a strong understanding of FE theory is required.
