The Data Reduction Engineer (Engineer I) is responsible for processing real time pre-flight data and post-flight for the purpose safety-of-flight monitoring.
Responsibilities
Perform avionics and flight technology; design engineering; stress and fatigue analysis; aerodynamics analysis; flight test engineering and other engineering related activities, depending upon placement within the organization
The candidates will be assigned to projects and support Build Team personnel with information necessary to complete daily tasks
Work with area engineers to resolve questions on estimated time values and make revisions if required
Work with engineering management to receive assignments and make recommendations for improvements
Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
PC proficiency in CATIA, CAD, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Ability to work effectively within a team
Ability to prioritize a variety of assignments
Good interpersonal and organizational skills
Travel 5-20% for offsite support, as required
Preferred
Strong mathematical computation skills.
Understanding of general aviation lingo and cockpit activities
CAFTA experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (in Aerospace, Mechanical or other related Engineering field)
