Loss Prevention Associate

Staples - Dallas, TX

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide security and administrative support.
  • Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
  • Monitor CCTV and alarms.
  • Assist LPM in ensuring proper safety and security procedures are followed.
  • Provides administrative support that includes but not limited to switchboard operation.
  • Create and maintain information data logs. (ex: equipment, CCTV, parking, access control, etc.)
  • Creates and maintains personnel safety and security documents. (ex: emergency evacuation, access control, MHE, etc.)
  • Provide administrative support for safety and security audits.
  • Work with LPM and facility management to address any safety and security issues of the facility.

Basic:

  • Proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Flexible schedule
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Maintain company confidentiality
  • Retail-related loss prevention, safety and security experience a plus.
  • High school education or equivalent plus some formal training.
