·
·         Provides leadership and guidance for fire prevention and response to ensure appropriate accomplishment of duties and goals.

 
·         Identifies potential problems, and implements creative and innovative solutions in a cost effective and efficient manner.
 
·         Safeguards manufacturing processes and storages and makes loss-control purchasing recommendations / decisions
 
·         Develops and implements a strategic plan for the Bell Helicopter fire department
 
·         Prepares the department to meet all training needs; oversees development and delivery of training/development programs to ensure personnel are meeting all required standards.
 
·         Ensures adherence to the collective bargaining agreement for impacted personnel where applicable, Bell policies, and federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
 
·         Monitors compliance with customer requirements.
 
·         Ensures necessary safety procedures are in place and followed by all fire department personnel.
 
·         Performs the duties of command personnel as needed; works within the Emergency Operations Incident Command procedures
 
·         Identifies property loss hazards, selects protection systems for specific hazards, safeguards manufacturing processes and storages and makes loss-control purchasing decisions.
 
·         Assists with development of property conservation standards and specification for fire safety, life safety and hazardous material incidents which ensures protection of life, property and continuity of operations.
 
·         Supervises subordinates in inspection of industrial fire safety, aircraft firefighting, rescue, emergency medical procedures and maintenance of equipment and vehicles to ensure maximum operational performance.
 
·         Has a thorough knowledge of local, state and federal fire codes and standards, rating organizations and underwriting agencies as well as FM Global engineering standards and practices
 

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Fire Science or other related field.

·         Five years of industrial fire protection and ARFF certification.

·         Five years in Fire / EMS operational / administrative management at a "Responsible in Charge" position / level.

·         Must have or be eligible to obtain Basic Aircraft Rescue Firefighter with te Texas Commission on Fire Protection

·         Must have Basic Emergency Medical Technician Certification with the Texas Department of State Health Service or National Registry

·         Candidates with DOD Emergency Medical Responder Certificate will be considered but must obtain Basic EMT above within 6 months of date of hire.

·         Obtain Secret Security Clearance
