Bell Helicopter is seeking a Sr. Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) for our international operation located at corporate headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas. 

This position provides strategic and operational support in partnership with business unit leadership, plans and implements human resources initiatives designed to maximize organizational effectiveness through talent management processes and job/organization design. The Sr. HRBP aligns HR initiatives with strategic business objectives and coordinates with Human Resources COE leaders to execute objectives consistent with Corporate Business and HR strategy, policies and practices. The incumbent will be a direct report to the HR Leader-Integrated Operations supporting one or more organizational units.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility

·    Acts as key partner in talent development and organizational succession planning. With leaders, develops and administers the business unit and/or organizational Talent Review.

·     Acts as key partner in culture change initiatives to drive Empowerment, Engagement, Execution and Innovation.

·    Consults business leaders in all areas of Human Resources.

·    Partners with leaders and union committee members in unionized production environment.

 

·    Acts as advocate and advisor to employees and leaders regarding career and leadership development initiatives.

·    Administers compensation processes to support competitive pay and retention practices by collecting data, researching and making salary recommendations where appropriate and within guidelines.  May partner with COE on the recommendation of alternatives to meet business needs.

·    Identifies and migrates HR best practices on a regional/global basis through Human Resources leadership.

 

·    In collaboration with the respective functional personnel, coordinates staffing forecast to project employment/deployment needs using the Strategic Workforce Planning tool.

 

·    Where appropriate, coordinates hiring activities with the Talent Acquisition Center. Maintains a human resources requisition system that meets management information needs.

 

·    Collaborates with client group to manage employee job performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

 

·    Develops and delivers presentations to leaders and employees regarding human resources policies and practices.

 

·    Initiates, coordinates, and enforces project, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.

 

·    Acts as primary contact for employee relations’ issues/resolutions.

 

·   Contributes to team efforts to accomplish team objectives.

 

·   Operates within the boundaries of the Textron Business Conduct Guidelines.

 

Education:

• Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field from an accredited college.

Skills and Experience:

• Prior direct HR experience supporting a workforce covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• At least 10 years experience in an HR generalist role to include resolving HR issues,
• employee and executive coaching and counseling, implementing and interpreting HR policies and procedures, improving HR processes, organizational development, recruitment/selection and legal/ethical compliance.
Knowledge of applicable state and federal labor and employment laws.
Strategic thinker with strong organizational, project management and
• facilitation skills.
Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate at all levels within a highly
• matrixed organization.
High level of trust and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team.
