Position Summary:


We are currently seeking a Portfolio Energy Manager for Fort Worth, TX!

Job Summary

The Portfolio Energy Manager is accountable for on-site energy audits and opportunity assessments for current or potential clients.  Provide guidance on energy efficiency projects to clients and facility management teams.


This position includes energy audit and retrocommissioning study responsibilities; perform engineering calculations to determine savings for various energy conservation measures.

The Portfolio Energy Manager reports to the Senior Manager or Director.

Job Responsibilities

Energy Strategy

  • Develop and execute an energy management strategy.
  • Implement programs to reach objectives.
On-site Audits
  • Conduct ASHRAE level 1 and 2 energy audits.
Energy Analysis
  • Manage energy benchmarking process, including ENERGY STAR.
  • Analyze energy consumption to identify savings opportunities.
Energy Conservation Measures
  • Manage process for identifying and prioritizing energy conservation measures, including capital investment.
  • Evaluate financial viability of projects for budgeting and approval.
Reporting
  • Provide clear and concise reporting to client(s) on all energy conservation efforts.
  • Provide easy-to-understand presentations of findings and recommendations.
Collaboration
  • Collaborate with other JLL energy managers to share best practices, develop case studies and develop new business opportunities.
  • Any and all other duties and tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education / Training
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, industrial) is required.
  • Master of Science degree in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, industrial) is preferred.
  • Certifications - Certified CxA is preferred.
Years of Relevant Experience
  • Five or more years’ experience in a related field or setting / environment is required.
  • Seven or more years’ experience in a related field or setting / environment is preferred.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical and building automation systems.
  • Smart building technology knowledge
