Currently we are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our Carrollton, TX production facility. This is a 2nd shift position. Starting pay is at least $20.16/hour.
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing job duties associated with maintaining, repairing and improving manufacturing equipment and plant utility systems across the site.

Key Responsibilities
- Repair and perform preventative maintenance on belts, piping, filters, mixers, conveyors, valves, bearings, and mechanical seals.
- Troubleshoot and proof test equipment as necessary to solve problems and pro-actively prevent them.
- Install, test, and maintain control devices, pressure sensing units, and flow measuring devices.
- Install, calibrate, test, troubleshoot and repair Allen Bradley PLC's.
- Install, test and maintain process motor control systems.
- Work from detailed technical documents, blueprints, schematics, etc.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Two years of technical training with state of the art technical practices preferred.
- 3-5 years experience in mechanical maintenance and/or related skilled trade.
- Experience using basic hand tools and power hand tools.
- Excellent communication from explaining equipment to operators on the floor to presenting recommendations for process improvement
- Welding and fabrication skills.
- Computer and PLC skills (experience with Allen Bradley systems desired)
- Experience working with ABB DCS systems and prior experience with a CMMS preferred (MP2 is a plus).
- Basic understanding of hydraulic theory and its applications
- Understanding of applicable utility systems and understanding of plant instrumentation/control systems.
