Currently we are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our Carrollton, TX production facility. This is a 2nd shift position. Starting pay is at least $20.16/hour.
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing job duties associated with maintaining, repairing and improving manufacturing equipment and plant utility systems across the site.
Repair and perform preventative maintenance on belts, piping, filters, mixers, conveyors, valves, bearings, and mechanical seals.
Troubleshoot and proof test equipment as necessary to solve problems and pro-actively prevent them.
Install, test, and maintain control devices, pressure sensing units, and flow measuring devices.
Install, calibrate, test, troubleshoot and repair Allen Bradley PLC's.
Install, test and maintain process motor control systems.
Work from detailed technical documents, blueprints, schematics, etc.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Two years of technical training with state of the art technical practices preferred.
3-5 years experience in mechanical maintenance and/or related skilled trade.
Experience using basic hand tools and power hand tools.
Excellent communication from explaining equipment to operators on the floor to presenting recommendations for process improvement
Welding and fabrication skills.
Computer and PLC skills (experience with Allen Bradley systems desired)
Experience working with ABB DCS systems and prior experience with a CMMS preferred (MP2 is a plus).
Basic understanding of hydraulic theory and its applications
Understanding of applicable utility systems and understanding of plant instrumentation/control systems.
