Currently we are seeking a Material Handler to join our team at our Carrollton, TX production facility.  This is a 2nd shift position.  Starting pay is $14.28/hour.  The Material Handler will receive, ship and stage raw materials and packaging supplies and operate waste treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inventory cycle counts.
  • Perform rack management: clean, organize and remove trash from rack and floor.
  • Check and verify the accuracy of the pallet prior to surrendering to supervisor/clerk.
  • Load and unload trucks using a forklift and/or hand truck.
  • Match bill of lading to merchandise received prior to signing “Subject to Inspection” and document any damage or discrepancies.
  • Retrieve and stage raw materials for production (raw material kitting).
  • Take test samples of materials to be analyzed.
  • Recordkeeping and collection of data in multiple computer software systems (i.e. AMS, Microsoft Access, and Intranet.)

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to operate computers and equipment.
  • Ability to work with tight time deadlines in an organized manner with a high sense of urgency is required.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis, and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
  • Willing to adjust work hours as business demands.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment including but not limited to forklifts, forklift attachments, hoists, & pumps.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple responsibilities in multiple areas on any given day.
  • Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages and ability to measure weights and volumes (standard and metrics).
  • Ability to work from heights up to 20-25 feet.
