The AT&T Executive Briefing Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a professional Lead Channel Manager (a.k.a. Briefing Consultant) to represent its flagship, award winning program to create, elevate and accelerate business through industry-leading, personalized customer briefings that “inspire” customers to transform their businesses through AT&T technology-enabled solutions. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, strategic thinking, team oriented, dynamic, energetic, willing to embrace innovation, creative, collaborative, and possess a positive attitude, a passion for technology, and creating successful client experiences.
This is a customer-facing position for external and some internal audiences with primary support for the Global Business and Corporate Solutions sales channels. This role is responsible for:
Planning and flawlessly executing complex executive briefings which leverage strategic content, messaging, executive interaction, network operations and technology demonstrations.
Consulting with account teams in the development of strategic briefing objectives, customized agendas, presentation content and demonstrations. Visits must be designed to address customer, sales, and marketing objectives.
Identifying and engaging discussion leaders and executives, managing prep-calls, day of visit logistics/hosting, and post-visit follow up.
Facilitating briefing to keep the briefing on track, create robust dialogue and ensure relevance of the briefing in meeting the customer’s objectives.
Developing and managing relationships with these key internal resources, subject matter experts and executives across various departments.
Increasing internal visibility of the Customer Briefing program through marketing and communications efforts.
Interacting with sales executives, marketing executives, executive business customers, prospects, analysts, media and VIPs.
Daily time flexibility is required as early starts or late finishes may be needed.
In order to be successful the ideal applicant should possess the following:
Consultative skills in the development of the strategic, customized briefing agendas and speaker engagements
Knowledge of telecommunications B2B technology including IP, MPLS, Convergence, M2M, Cloud, Mobile Broadband and Applications
Enthusiasm for learning new technologies while working in a dynamic high-tech multi-media environment
Growing knowledge of current events in the telecom industry and competitive landscape
Prior experience in a client-facing capacity within a high-tech corporate environment
Attention to detail and applied sense of urgency to drive processes to achieve results within tight deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong project management capabilities are required. Incumbent must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and work within tight deadlines. Position also requires ability to think strategically, negotiate, and partner across organizations.

Required Skills and Experience
· 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in area of responsibility
· 5 or more years of product marketing experience
· Significant matrix management experience
· Project management experience
· Leadership skills to shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy
· Team oriented - ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
· Strong organizational and project management skills, able to plan, meet deadlines, prioritize projects and manage a cross-functional team.
