Position Summary:
OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking experienced Property Tax professionals to join our Valuation & Advisory Services team in Dallas.
Our Valuation & Advisory Services platform is part of a global network comprised of experienced, licensed, qualified professionals providing valuation and consulting services to commercial real estate clients nationally. Our service offerings include comprehensive property tax services.
The successful candidate will cultivate and represent clients who own commercial real estate in the management of ad valorem tax assessments for their properties. Travel is required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Developing client relationships
- Analyzing the assessed values of client owned properties
- Representing clients in front of appraisal districts and other taxing authorities
- Providing property tax consulting services
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, and/or Real Estate
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing commercial real estate property tax services
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
- Property tax license
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Have or seeking an advanced designation
- Strong computer skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to travel
