Overall Purpose: This position provides consulting services by working
directly with the customer to identify and recommend solutions that
solve the customers strategic business goals.
Responsibilities:
Manage supervisors and managers of
team of advanced application specialists to meet assigned territory quota thru
management
Manage Funnel and sales inspection
while developing market
Provide executive readouts and
reviews on state of the business and plans to over achieve objectives
Collaborate and partner with
Distribution and Channel Marketing,
product leadership, assigned territory sales leadership, finance
leadership, customer care leadership and other organizations to support
advanced application sales
Position self as assigned territory
management contact for all items needed associated with specific advanced
application solution set
Proactively participate in account
and opportunity reviews, with a focus on driving next steps to close the
opportunity
Establish a partner relationship
with customers at Executive C-level, positioning AT&T as a trusted advisor
and strategic planning resource for mobility concepts.
Establish direct relationships with
solution technology partners in order to drive advancements in product
roadmaps, collaboration, or engagement in top opportunities
Develop, document and share best
practices for selling assigned wireless data solutions, detailing the
significant approach used to overcome competitive scenarios and customer
challenges.
Stay current and maintain a comprehensive
knowledge of complex data products, solutions and competitive intelligence
around pricing and market trends.
Drive Market Development activities
and manager Market Development Associate Directors for Public Safety Vertical
Stay current and maintain a
comprehensive knowledge of complex data products, solutions and competitive
intelligence around pricing and market trends.

use vs cellular use in commercial and government customers
Competitive knowledge of the 2 way

Ability to work with TCO models and
sell to CFO and CTO levels
Experience in selling dispatch / field
force automation software solutions to the transportation / utility /
government / field service industries
10 years of technology consulting
sales experience with focus on Line of Business Leaders, IT and Mobility.
Consistently outperform sales quotas in
previous jobs, achievement driven and highly competitive.
Experience using consultative selling
approach
Previous team management experience
