Aircraft Performance Analyst

Bell Helicopter - Fort Worth, Texas

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Sales team and Independent Representatives (IR) to provide mission profile analysis, payload range analysis, performance specifications, etc. using Flight Manuals and respective technical publications, charts and tools.
  • Will have a specific commercial product assignment. Responsibilities will include deep understanding of the product performance, competitive landscape, strengths, weaknesses, market trends, win/loss analysis
  • Develop in depth product and performance comparisons of Bell products against competing products
  • Work with appropriate Sales team and IR members to provide appropriate products and services that respond to their unique customers.
  • Provide technical support for proposals in response to RFI, RFP’s and various solicitations.
  • Provide technical information/specifications and support for development/updates of marketing's collateral material including product briefings presentations, product brochures, technical publications, and product specs
  • Interacts with cross-functional groups (e.g., Engineering, Programs, Sales, Proposals, Contracts, Customer Services, Finance, Creative Services) to solve business and customer issues in the overall sales process.
  • Ensure that all products and services are of the highest quality, technically accurate and legally compliant.
Desired Skills:
  • Fluent in PC Handbook for running detailed aircraft performance analysis
  • Ability to formulate and model complex aircraft mission performance based on customer requirements or proposal documentations
  • Technical understanding of rotorcraft products with sales-minded focus
  • Understanding of aircraft performance and calculations
  • Understanding of aircraft configurations
  • Ability to translate customer needs to deliverable results
  • Strong communication skills, written and spoken
  • Works well in small group teams and cross functional teams
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-pace, autonomous environment and meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing customer, sales and organizational requirements
  • Self-motivated, deals well with ambiguity and focusing on multiple tasks 
  • Work closely with Engineering, Marketing, Sales team, Proposals, Contracts and IRs
  • Provide presentations and support to Commercial Business leadership.
  • Work closely with Communications, Marketing Communications, and Customer Support Services
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent, related degree
Experience:
  • At least 5 years industry experience in Engineering field
Preferred:
  • Technical understanding of Bell products
