  •  The Leader will assign, manage and direct the daily manufacturing activities of production resources within his/her cell to attain economy of operations, maximize throughout, and ensure profitable production of specific focus will be on Safety, Quality, Compliance, Delivery, Cost & Growth. This will be accomplished by performing the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

 

 Assign tasks and administer production activities to ensure on-time delivery per the downstream customer needs.

 

Ensure that production technicians and operators perform assigned tasks with a high level of energy and professionalism.

-Advocates and requires the highest standards of product quality.

-Coordinates with Supply Chain to ensure availability of tools, starting materials, and work authorizations.

-Direct production personnel in the execution of process instructions to complete details, assemblies and spares.


-Work with Process Engineering and Continuous Improvement leader to implement and maintain conformance to Process Certification in order to reduce scrap, rework, scrap, rework, schedule misses and the potential for defect escapes.

-Work with Employee Health and Safety to ensure proper processes and procedures are in place to reduce the potential for job related.


- Develop, support, and implement process improvements.


-Continuously drive improvement of critical metrics such as product quality, delivery performance, lead times, cost, safety and producibility.


-Review activity reports, backlogs, delivery schedules, manpower and financial statements to determine progress in attaining objective.


-Participate in TBSA initiatives.

Education:

    •  Minimum 60 hours of college education

Position Requirements:

  •  3 years of demonstrated success in leadership role; 3 years of manufacturing and/or operations related experience.


           Preferred: BA/BS; 5 years of leadership in Aerospace Manufacturing.
