The Area Trainer will serve as a key partner in driving company sales in our Retail & Wholesale locations by training and coaching employees on service & selling techniques, product knowledge, and artistry skills through classroom training an direct interactions with employees within our retailers. The Area Trainer will deliver high impact training modules and event execution, in order to attain sales objectives, improve key performance indicators and key category penetration. The Area Trainer will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external management and employees.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for working with Retail and Wholesale Field Sales teams to achieve sales and KPI expectations for the territory
Facilitate high impact trainings that include Bootcamp, Seasonal Academy, Service and Artistry Workshops, and retailer specific trainings such as Sephora Encore, SiJCP TTT , and high profile cluster trainings
Demonstrate and teach strong service and selling skills, through role playing with employees and personal interaction with customers
Responsible for full cycle training execution to include the coordination of training times, venues, attendees, set up and break down
Key presenter in retailer education videos
Support and headline key events
Responsible for teaching makeup application techniques while constantly improving and evolving personal artistry
Execute visits to various retailer locations to educate employees and support events, drive sales, and lead by example while servicing customers and strengthen brand relationships
Flex style and approach to meet the needs of each retailer business, employee and customer facilitating appropriate training experiences
Create and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external management
Provide ongoing development for various retailer managers focused on the training and development of their tea the areas of product knowledge, artistry techniques, service and selling techniques
Provide ongoing feedback to retailer managers on the performance of their team and ways in which to improve their performance
Participate in District/Regional meetings, “Train the Trainer” sessions and conference calls to provide partnership create solutions to address business needs
Uphold Bare Escentuals Dress Code Guidelines & consistently demonstrate a polished and professional appearance frequently changing makeup styles to reflect current trends by wearing seasonal looks
Manage T&E budget to be within the budget guidelines and to be fiscally responsible
Requirements:
3 year experience in a Cosmetic selling environment
1 year of experience in Cosmetic training and facilitation
Cosmetic experience required
Proven ability to facilitate educational seminars, ensuring participant learning and mastery of content
Demonstrated ability to drive sales through developing teams and providing exceptional customer service
Ability to listen and understand the needs of the customer, connecting products to their needs
Ability to work collaboratively and build positive/effective business partnerships
Ability to interact with all levels of management in a fast paced, high growth, changing environment
Must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Effective planning, organizational and time management skills
Possesses professional appearance with the ability to uphold BE Dress Code Guidelines
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 Pounds
Able to stand for up to 8 hours
Ability to travel 80%
Possess a personal vehicle to be utilized for business purposes
Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays
