Field Service Representative

 
The Field Service Representative supports Bell Helicopter’s MV-22 Program at Miramar Marine Corps Air Station near San Diego, CA. This position provide support in the operation and maintenance of the aircraft, to include avionics, airframe electrical, drive train, powerplant and ASE equipment.
 
Position Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site company representation and technical support to military customers and initiates corrective actions to ensure customer satisfaction with company products and services. 
  • Utilize technical expertise and company knowledge to assist the customer to achieve and sustain a high level of proficiency in the operation and maintenance by investigating product problems, determining causes, and developing and implementing corrective actions.
  • Understand customer expectations and assist the customer in interpreting and using support data and documents, provide technical on-the-job training, and act as the on-site liaison between the company and customer personnel of widely varying backgrounds to gain resolution of significant technical operational issues.
  • Develop excellent relationships across multiple organizations and with all levels of military customer and company personnel to ensure customer satisfaction with company products and services.
  • Prepare status reports to maintain optimal product performance at maximum cost efficiency for customers.
  • Travel with the squadron to off-site locations to include overseas is required.
Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Associates Degree – or equivalent military/industry experience – is preferred.
Position Requirements:
  • 4  years extensive of maintenance experience with Bell/Boeing V-22 military aircraft is preferred.
  • This position requires experience and technical expertise on military aircraft products operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting with a strong preference in airframe structures. 
  • Excellent knowledge of V-22 aircraft systems and of military aircraft maintenance procedures is required.
  • Personal computer proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and database applications is required.
  • Excellent oral and writing skills are required.
  • Required to obtain and hold a Secret level security clearance.
  • Experience using TARS, as well as government systems REMIS and/or NALCOMIS are essential.
  • Preferred:  FAA A&P license, FCC General Radio Telephone License or equivalent military experience
