As an Associate Software Developer in Custom Development for Bell Helicopter, you’ll be a part of the Technology team at our Global Headquarters in Fort Worth, TX. The Custom Development Solution Center provides innovative solutions using modern technologies to support key business needs. You’ll take part in a fast-paced work environment with tasks consisting of software development, project implementation, and strategic technological or process improvements. You’ll have the opportunity to engage with senior developers/architects, leaders, and subject matter experts who will be supporting and coaching you to success.

Job Summary:

         Write applications (mostly in .NET) in support of projects you are assigned

         Follow our processes to provide updates, details, and documentation on the applications you create

         Look for ways to innovate within the application technologies

         Learn from team members and supervisor to gain detailed insight to the technology stack and department operations

         Seek and formulate alternative courses of actions and solicit feedback for professional development

         Collaborate with team members, management, and cross-functionally with other departments to complete assignments

Position Requirements:

         Good communication skills, both oral and written are required

         Strong programming experience through coursework or independent projects

         Quickly grasps new concepts when faced with unfamiliar tasks

         Action oriented with good organizational and time management skills

         Strong analytical and problem solving skills

         (Preferred) Knowledge in any of the following: .NET, MVC, C#, CSS, HTML, Javascript, Team Foundation Server, Microsoft SQL Server, database tables/schemas/queries, Agile software development, automated testing, iOS/Android app development, Angular, jQuery, DevExpress

 

Education Requirements:

         Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or other related field

         Minimum GPA of 3.00
