Position Overview
Bell Helicopter is seeking a Sales Development Program Lead located at corporate headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas.
The Sales Development Program Lead will play a key role in supporting Bell Helicopter’s Professional Learning and Development organization, specializing in the management of the Sales Development Program, Sales Training and Business Acumen. This position is responsible for providing program participants with the skills and knowledge to become a world class helicopter salesperson. The program will prepare participants with extensive training in sales methodologies and competencies, industry standards, Bell Helicopter culture and product knowledge, and international business acumen. The program is a critical part of building the talent pipeline of sales professionals at Bell Helicopter.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate onboarding that provides an in-depth understanding of Bell Helicopter history, culture, support functions, responsibilities as a program participant, rotational overviews, and robust technical training
- Coordinate rotational requirements and curriculum with leaders from across the business
- Co-design, plan, and develop training curriculum, courses and supporting documentation
- Develop and document processes and procedures to be used by all responsible stakeholders in accordance with company policies, industry standards, and recommended practices
- Conduct team building activities and training workshops
- Coordinate Global recruiting strategy with HR Business Partners and Regional Managing Directors
- Coordinate international visa requirements with Global HR
- Evaluate effectiveness of training programs and make adjustments to content and methods as needed
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Minimal experience of 6 years coordinating and/or leading development programs.
- A highly organized and detail-oriented professional who can work independently.
- Collaborative Team member.
- Strong Project Management Skills.
- An innovative problem solver who proactively identifies ways to improve.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, including cross-functionally.
- Ability to coordinate and facilitate instructor-led training and development workshops effectively
- Ability to multi-task/lead multiple projects effectively.
- Demonstrate potential to conduct training needs assessments and consult with business leaders, especially in sales management.
- Experience in the Aviation industry, preferably the helicopter segment.
- Customer focused, with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Sales experience is preferred, but not required.
