Retail Store Management Operations Summer Intern

With over 900 retail centers in North America, we continue to grow. Within our stores channel, we sell a wide range of architectural coatings and sundry items to industry, builders, contractors, and home owners.
Currently we are seeking college students to participate in our PPG Paint Stores Internship Program. With the PPG Paint Stores Internship Program, you will receive on-the-job experience. You will contribute daily to our business objectives and become part of our team. You will learn all aspects of operations that includes:

Store Management

Merchandising
-
Product knowledge
-
Sales/Customer Service
-
Inventory
-
Financial Reporting
- Students enrolled in an accredited 4-year college or university
- Willingness to work all scheduled hours which may include weekends and overtime
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship or restrictions
- Demonstrated leadership and excellent communications skills
- Ability to lift up to 40-60 pounds routinely and up to 80 pounds infrequently
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible hours and up to 30 hours per week. This internship is expected to last 12 weeks.
- Must pass a hair drug/toxins test and a background check
