Sr Structural Dynamics Engineer
Bell Helicopter - Fort Worth, Texas
The Structural Dynamics Engineer provides analytical design support for Bell Helicopter’s advanced rotorcraft products. This position is located at Bell Helicopter’s headquarters facility in Ft. Worth, TX.
Position Responsibilities:
• Typical assignments associated with this position include detail finite element analyses of components and complete airframe assemblies.
• Analytical support of engineering investigation and resolution of dynamics problems.
• Performance of multiple tasks with minimal supervision is expected.
• Conduct analysis in technical areas related to structural dynamics, including the following:
• Airframe vibration analysis
• Passive vibration control and reduction
• Dynamic compatibility of air vehicle components and subsystems.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering is required.
- Masters Degree is preferred.
Position Requirements:
• Experience at all levels will be considered with a minimum of 2 years specific experience with Finite Element Analysis required.
• Experienced user of NASTRAN/PATRAN is strongly preferred.
