This position is located at Bell Helicopter’s Flight Research Center in Arlington, TX. The applicant is responsible for (but not limited to) the following job duties.
Responsibilities:
Support of flight test activities including:
Real-time monitoring of telemetry data during flight testing
Post-flight data analysis
Responsibilities may include off-site testing in the U.S. and Canada
Evaluation of developmental flight configurations to identify impacts on design
Perform analyses of developmental and official certification data
Support certification reports and flight manual development
Support modification of the aircraft external components to meet performance objectives
Support manufacturing by analyzing deviations from design to minimize scrap rates
Perform miscellaneous analyses as part of the Flight Technology Integrated Product Team
Position Requirements:
BS in Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering. Graduate degrees are also preferred
Other closely related Engineering degree may be considered with applicable experience
At least 5 years relevant experience in aircraft design and analysis
Experience in rotorcraft design and analysis preferred
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Solid communication skills, with a customer-centric approach and a focus on concisely written communication across all levels
