Position Summary:
The 3DI/Assembly & Integration Engineer is responsible for design activities related to the preparation and release of engineering data on Bell Helicopter’s 505 Program. This position has responsibilities for compliance to the DRM, Aircraft Integration Design, Best Practices, Customer Specifications, Bell Helicopter procedures and Program Directives.

Position Responsibilities:
- Create detail, assembly, and installation drawings/DPDs
- Prepare and conduct design reviews and product change board activities with 505 program team.
- Work closely with ME/Planning to develop optimized build plan and EBOM/MBOM alignment.
- Manage the CATIA Product Tree including configured products, ECA and PUEECO’s for configured product changes.
- Coordinate with other engineering, manufacturing or specialty personnel to resolve design and installation problems.
- Specific tasks include responding to data/action requests (ENOVIA Issues) from procurement, manufacturing, tooling, etc.
- Typical tasks include 3DI Interference verification of all 505 design release packages, change requests, and change order preparation, drawing/DPD maintenance, product changes and improvements.
- Develop and maintain program metrics for performance and status reporting.
-Provide business systems Power User assistance to troubleshoot and escalate business systems trouble tickets in JIRA for the 505 program team.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, other closely related Engineering degree may be considered with applicable experience.
- At least 3 years aerospace installation/integration design experience.
- Must be proficient in CATIA V6 & ENOVIA V6 Engineering processes including configured part change process; PUEECO, ECA, LPV’s, and Issues.
- Experienced with Dassault Systems CATIA V5 & 3DVia Composer a plus
- Familiarity with MRP, Planning (CAMS), Manufacturing and Procurement processes is required.
- Must have the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to coordinate design activities and report status to design leads and program management.
- Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, as well as horizontal integrations across the other teams to complete design tasks.
- Familiarity with Aerospace Electrical Installation/Aircraft Integration, BHTI Drawing Content and Release procedure including DRM and ENOVIA, VAR’s preferred.
-Familiar with SAP Business Objects and Qlikview reporting tools
Familiar with the JIRA ticket management system.
