The Weapons Systems Engineer is responsible for design, integration, and test of the weapons and armament systems required to meet program and customer defined requirements. This position is located at Bell Helicopter’s Ft. Worth, TX headquarters facility.
Education Requirements:
- - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required. Aerospace or Mechanical engineering degrees may be considered with significant experience.
- - Masters Degree is preferred.
Position Requirements:
· At least 10 years experience in airborne weapons/munitions systems, including systems design, integration, and testing is preferred.
· Must have the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to coordinate and lead activities, prioritize tasks, and report status.
· Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, as well as horizontal integrations across the other teams.
· Familiarity with aerospace design and verification processes to include; requirements development and verification, preliminary and detailed design, MRP, Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement and Maintenance processes is preferred.
· PC proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
· Must have the ability to work effectively within a team.
· Good interpersonal and organizational skills are required.
· Active Secret Clearance is preferred. Successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD Security Clearance.
