AT&T Senior Strategic Pricing manager is a vital resource to the production of Key Pricing Metrics including Sales Price Realization Scorecards; Custom Pricing trends and product pricing strategy formation.  Having the responsibility for Pricing Analytics on new and existing highly complex product and services, the Strategic Pricing manager works directly with the team to understand drivers and identify and provide necessary reporting.

 

Roles and responsibilities of the AT&T Strategic Pricing manager include, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Responsible for product pricing strategy formation, product implementation, promotions, distribution channel strategies and selection.
  • Formulates pricing for highly complex new and existing products and services.
  • Responsible for product pricing strategy formation, product implementation, promotions, distribution channel strategies and selection, and coordinates public policy issues.
  • Position is accountable for financial analysis and revenue attainment.
  • Position monitors competitor pricing and generates price level comparisons and conducts complex crossover and profitability analysis.
  • Performs financial analysis and computer modeling and applies it to an understanding of varying competitive strategies within the telecom industry to make recommendation.
  • Pricing Analytics for new and existing highly complex products/services
  • Partner with higher-end channels to understand business drivers of customer pricing deals.
  • Analyze key metrics across all channels; interact with respective channels and reporting SMEs.
  • Interact with all custom pricing and strategic pricing teams to deliver a consolidated view of activity
  • Identify and communicate required reporting requirements for intra-operations and operation reviews; ensure consistency of reporting across all channels, and that Reporting SMEs are getting all necessary data to meet reporting needs.
  • Prepare reports with key metrics for communication as needed
  • Lead reporting calls with respective channel to discuss key trends, reporting needs, best-in-class practices, and/or areas of concern
  • Coordinate process improvement initiatives as necessary
Required Skills and Experience
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience
  • 5 or more years of professional experience in a financial role with extensive analytical requirements
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis and computer modeling techniques
  • Team oriented - ability to work well with diverse, cross-functional teams  
  • Needs a strong knowledge of financial analysis and computer modeling techniques
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to perform in a quickly changing, time-sensitive environment with great attention to detail
  • Understand financial principles 
  • Strong Excel and data modeling

Desired Skills, Experience and Education
  • 5 or more years in a similar role supporting same industry
  • Bachelors Degree in a Financial Discipline; Finance, Accounting, etc.
