Contracts Administrator
 
The Contracts Administrator performs proposal preparation and contract administration tasks at Bell Helicopter. This position interfaces with Functional organizations, Integrated Program Teams, COEs, and customers to coordinate contracting and compliance actions. This position is based at Bell Helicopter’s Ft. Worth, TX headquarters facility.
 
Position Responsibilities:
 
Maintains contract systems, reports / metrics, data, correspondence, and files.
  • Coordinates RFPs / RFQs and Estimate Requests (ERs) with internal and external customers.
  • Accesses, maintains, and utilizes Bell information management systems.
  • Coordinates basic proposals; providing pricing and proposal guidance.
  • Supports negotiations and contract definitization.
  • Coordinates terms and conditions and contractual documents and requirements.
  • Structures, coordinates, and administers all new aircraft deliveries.
  • Interacts with Contracts team and the Executive Director to support the structure of contracts.
  • Documents production involved with the closing/approval of aircraft to the customer.
  • Manages extensive functional coordination between multiple internal departments
  • Ensures effective and efficient compliance with contractual and customer requirements.
  • Administers contract from time of signature to delivery of the aircraft.
  • Coordinates with Export/Import compliance
  • Primary point of contact and lead for contract construction on special contract terms.
  • Ensures contracts are acceptable to the customer's needs
  • Ensures internal departments are aware of Bell's obligation under the terms of the contract.

Education Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Major in Business Administration is preferred.

 

Position Requirements:

 

  • 2 years related experience is preferred.
  • Experience in Contracts, Pricing or Business Management is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MicroSoft Office is required.
  • Excellent communication skills are required.
  • Must be able to work effectively with customers and with other internal departments.
  • Must have the ability to organize, plan and prioritize a variety of Contract assignments
