A Day in the Life of an Associate IT Analyst

 

Non-Metallic M&P Engineer will be responsible for learning and executing the following tasks

  • Develop and expand knowledge of materials, processes and the controlling specifications
  • Develop and expand skills related to drawing review and interpretation using CAD/CAM software
  • Develop basic skills in using computerized drawing management system (ENOVIA)
  • Develop and expand technical writing skills through preparation of lab reports and updating specifications
  • Assist with support to production to gain knowledge of shop processes and basic troubleshooting skills to seek solutions to problems.
  • Gain familiarity with lab processes and procedures (work performed by technicians) and manage simple test programs interacting with lab personnel
  • Must maintain compliance with company quality requirements, industry test standards, ISO, etc.  Must maintain compliance with NAVAIR, FAA, TCA, EASA, ITAR, EAR and GCCP Safety of Flight requirements.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanics of Materials, Materials Science, Aerospace or other related technical degree, with 0-2 years’ experience.
  • 3.0 minimum GPA is required.
 
Ideal Candidates Also Have:
  • Candidate shall have above average mechanical aptitude; very good computer, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of composite materials, aerospace structures, and familiarity with industry material test methods is preferred.
