Job Description
The Sr Global Talent & Organizational Effectiveness Partner will utilize the full set of organization development tools and methods, including organizational design, strategy development, organizational alignment, change management, facilitation design and process and project management as well as situational leadership advice and guidance to coach leaders through this work. S/he will need a working knowledge of individual and organization assessment, employee engagement, facilitation, and training and development and will pull on that expertise as needed. As a member of the Talent Management team, the Sr Global Talent & Organizational Effectiveness Partner will support the team’s broader focus on the firm's talent strategy.
• Collaborate with Human Resources colleagues and business leaders to diagnose business needs and create/support targeted interventions including: organization design, change management, and leadership effectiveness • Using a systemic approach diagnose, create and lead leadership teams through the organizational design process with a focus on the integration of strategy, the external environment, work, talent, rewards and culture. • Create necessary relationships, links and connections to inform and influence organizational design decisions • Engage in large scale change initiatives to help leaders anticipate, accept, and lead change • Facilitate change in individuals, groups, and departments in a way that enables them to address similar situations in the future • Create and manage work plans, communication, and sustainability processes • Champion and model thinking and behavior changes aligned with organizational change and talent strategy • Stay current on research and practices in organization design and change management, and the interdependence of related talent solutions (e.g. leadership, learning, assessment, performance management, etc.) • Deepen expertise within the team and build capability among Human Resources and business leaders related to change leadership, organizational effectiveness, and the development of leaders and leadership
Qualifications
• Solid understanding of business concepts, strategic alignment and identification of talent implications • Demonstrated ability to use diagnostic skills to translate the theory of organizational development into practical applications that improve business results • Expertise in organizational development, including change management, organizational design, leadership development, and broad talent management disciplines • Strong engagement and consulting skills; ability to build strong relationships and work effectively in a highly matrixed environment • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, outstanding verbal and written communication skills, strong project planning and management skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities • Excellent strategic planning and operational deployment skills; with the ability to integrate and align strategy, people, and activities across functions, processes, and teams; capable of translating a vision and strategy into clear actionable goals • Minimum ten years of relevant experience in an internal or external consulting role with senior leaders and Human Resources to diagnose needs and develop/implement organizational development solutions. Needs to have additional relevant career experience influencing teams, building subject matter expertise and delivering results. • Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Leadership Development, Human Resources, or a related discipline
