The V-22 Sr Solution Analyst is accountable for the integration, interpretation and transformation of data analysis supporting successful non-material/material solutions towards improved V-22 fleet readiness. This position will support the goal of growing the sustainment business and develop data-driven improvements for sustainment strategies on the V-22 Program. This position will utilize data analytics to perform statistical analysis, model complex business problems, and identify opportunities while guiding & supporting corrective action implementation. Ensures the proper implementation of statistical analysis, value added graphics/interpretation, and continuous improvement methodology towards proposed solutions to increase V-22 Fleet Readiness. Works with various functions within V-22 ILS and Engineering to integrate and prepare large & varied datasets, build specialized databases and computational algorithms in support of valid V-22 fleet readiness solutions. This position is based at Bell Helicopter’s headquarters facility in Ft. Worth, TX.
Position Responsibilities:
Apply mathematical formulas and graphing programs to accurately portray the validity, correlation and impact of existing issues and proposed solutions.
Develop and refine analytical approaches to aircraft fleet readiness decisions
Perform analysis using predictive modeling, data/text mining, and statistical tools
Utilize data mining/predictive modeling tools to create meaningful models for fleet readiness strategy & initiative development
Utilize/create data visualization tools for both internal leadership and external customer review
Mathematically analyze the impact of process steps in current and future state environments toward improved fleet maintenance capabilities and solutions
Use DMAIC methodology to ensure identified process changes are properly quantified, provide measurable improvement, and are sustainable.
Assist cross functional teams in data interpretation and process development improvement to include engineering, ILS, and finance organizations.
Develop and manage corrective actions/data-driven mitigation plans and brief updates to program leadership.
Develop and implement mathematical formulas and graphical representations for V-22 fleet solutions.
Provide statistical analysis/justification in support of USG/Industry partnership towards current and future BBPO readiness solutions.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in finance or a scientific field is require
Masters Degree is preferred.
Position Requirements:
8 years of related analytical experience is preferred. 5 years of Aerospace experience is preferred
Black Belt certification is preferred
Experience with data preparation, rationalization, and process required
Must be highly proficient in statistical analysis, formulas and graphing
Must be proficient with data mining tools and data visualization tools
Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
Excellent critical thinking skills are required
Must be able to gain access to required DoD information systems
