Overall Purpose: Responsible for supporting the design and development of Executive Compensation plans. Evaluates and analyzes top management positions. Project manages key compensation processes and/or initiatives.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Participates in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine company’s competitive position. Makes decisions relating to proposed salary adjustments for conformance to established guidelines, policies and practices. Analyze and evaluate compensation surveys conducted by other company’s. This employee has authority to formulate recommendations regarding development of company salary structure, job revisions, organizational structures, etc. Counsels and advises management on the company’s compensation strategy, policies, programs, and communications. Collaborates and contributes in annual pay program development (research, analysis) and formulates recommendations for business salary budgets. Reviews and approves requests for new or revised job classifications to determine appropriate market zone assignment. This position deals directly with attorneys and Executives on Executive Compensation plan design and issues.
Project manager for short- and long- term compensation initiatives, including but not limited to salary survey submission, market pricing, compensation cycle, and implementation of M&A activity and/or compensation program changes. This position has the authority to develop the timeline and processes related to project management of the compensation processes/initiatives. Responsible for working cross-functionally to accomplish project milestones for the annual compensation process and/or implementation the initiative(s). Responsible for presenting recommendations and changes to senior leadership, HR partners, and employees. Oversees change management processes to implement approved recommendations.
Education: Bachelors of Arts or Bachelors of Science degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Compensation experience or 3 - 5 years of experience in a related field. Project management experience 1 -3 years.
